FSL PART 1 QUALIFICATION REQUIRED AS WELL AS DEMONSTRATED ABILITY TO DELIVER AND ASSESS PROGRAM CURRICULUM IN FRENCH SPECIAL EDUCATION PART 1 QUALIFICATION IS REQUIRED THIS POSTING IS OPEN TO CANDIDATES WHO ARE NOT ON THE WRDSB OCCASIONAL TEACHER ROSTER. IF YOU ARE CURRENTLY ON THE WRDSB OCCASIONAL TEACHER ROSTER, PLEASE APPLY TO THE INTERNAL POSTING. Candidates that apply to this posting who are not qualified will have their names removed prior to the posting being released to the Principal. PLEASE NOTE - your qualifications must be current as of the date of this posting, ie, if you are currently enrolled in the course or if you are in the midst of the course, you are NOT eligible to apply to this posting. Candidates who are qualified and interested may apply to this vacancy. The Human Resources Department will forward all ELIGIBLE applications to the Principal (see above). The Principal of the school will screen applications and may select those he/she wishes to consider from the qualified applicants. Neither Human Resources nor the Principal will necessarily respond to each applicant. As a condition of employment you are required to submit a Criminal Record Check (CRC) including the vulnerable sector that is acceptable to the board. Human Resources must be in receipt of the original CRC before your employment can begin. Please note that the Board does not assume any costs associated with the Criminal Record Check. It is the responsibility of interested candidates to ensure that their application, including a resume and a copy of a current Certificate of Qualification is submitted through Apply to Education. Long term occasional teachers in an assignment greater than eighty (80) instructional days or four (4) months in duration, are eligible for up to five (5) full unpaid days per school year. Long term occasional teachers in an assignment greater than thirty (30) instructional days but less than eighty (80) instructional days in duration will be eligible to take up to one (1) unpaid day during the term of their assignment. Please note that such days will not be granted to extend the December or March break and cannot be split into partial days. These days must be requested through Human Resources Services according to the timelines outlined in the Collective Agreement.
