Outillages Avitec Inc. more than 40 years of expertise
It was in 1979 that the company Outillages Avitec Inc., founded by Vicentino Di Sano and André Barrette, started its activities. Limited by the technological advances of the time and the reduced production capacities due to its location, the company initially specialized in the manufacture of cutting tools. In 1987, Outillages Avitec Inc. moved its facilities to Boulevard Armand Bombardier in Montreal (current address), in order to better meet growing demand.
The products and services offered by Outillages Avitec Inc. have rapidly expanded: design, conception, manufacturing, inspection service, repair and this, for various tools and parts, even those of great complexity. Our products are diversified: jigs and fixtures, sets of cutting tools, ground support equipment. Ten years after the start of its activities, the company acquired the building located just across from the manufacturing plant. This proximity will make it possible to offer customers an extremely competitive response time and to intervene effectively in emergency situations.
In 2004, Mr. Di Sano became the sole shareholder of the now family-owned company. His two daughters Nadia and Sandra grew up with Outillages Avitec Inc. and they, as well as their spouse, are taking over. The reputation of Outillages Avitec Inc. was built quickly thanks to its involvement with its customers working in fields as diverse as aeronautics, naval, medical and military.
