Position Overview

Reporting to the Equipment Manager, AGI, the Equipment Administrator will be responsible for providing clerical, office admin and filing support to the Equipment group. This position is based out of Sherwood Park, Alberta.


Key Responsibilities

  • Document and ensure continuous process improvements are applied within area of responsibility.
  • Maintaining necessary equipment lists and documentation.
  • Coding of purchase requisitions for the Equipment department as required.
  • Running various Equipment (Fleet) reports from the system (SAP and Enterprise).
  • Correspond with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Provide administrative support to the Equipment dept. as requested (e.g. labels, filing, etc.).
  • Distribution of Taxable Benefit related items, and processing of monthly invoices.
  • Processing of invoices and updating assigned vehicles for Taxable Benefit purposes in Enterprise tracking system.
  • Participate in special projects and initiatives as required.


Required Knowledge and Experience

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience working in an administrative capacity.
  • Knowledge of construction equipment.
  • Experience with project or equipment administration is an asset.
  • Intermediate knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel, Word and Outlook.
  • Strong knowledge in Excel, able to create and modify complex spreadsheets.
  • Knowledge of SAP would be a benefit
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proven ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Superior communication skills both written and oral.
  • Ability to work well under pressure with a focus on deadlines, using initiative and requiring minimal supervision.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to multi-task.
  • Strong desire to learn new computer programs (SAP, Enterprise).
  • Able to work within a team and independently with minimal supervision.
