We are looking for a Team Leader, Stores (shift work) to supervise the unionized employees, oversee the receipt, dispatching and storage of Aircraft Parts and Tooling along with administrative functions. They will oversee, mentor, evaluate, reward and discipline staff. They will ensure the maintenance of company assets.

Responsibilities:
- Manage a team of Unionized employees while respecting their collective agreement.
- Represent Logistics, being the prime management contact for our customers.
- Oversee the receiving, warehousing and distribution operations.
- Implement and ensure adherence to policies and procedures.
- Carry out weekly and monthly departmental self-audits to ensure compliance.
- Maintain employee work schedules including assignments, job rotation, training, vacations, cover for absenteeism, and overtime scheduling.
- Coach, mentor and develop staff, including overseeing new employee onboarding.
- Lead employees to meet Logistics expectations for productivity, quality, and goal accomplishment.
- Provide performance feedback through employee recognition, rewards, and disciplinary action.
- Conduct Crew Briefings, one-on-one meetings, Union Meetings and have difficult conversations.
- 5+ years of Warehouse Management experience in a Unionized environment in combination of being a bachelor's degree holder in Aviation Management, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, or equivalent professional industry experience of 7+ years (non-Degree holders)
- Excellent understanding of warehouse management procedures.
- Proficient knowledge of inventory and inventory controls.
- Ability to obtain a RAIC (Restricted Area Identification Card) (To be obtained upon employment)
- Valid drivers' license and ability to obtain Airside Vehicle Operators Permit (AVOP).
- Proficient computer skills.
- Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Outstanding leadership, organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong people skills.
- Available to work extended hours and shift work.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal relationship building, employee coaching and development skills.
- Customer focused.
