Reporting to the Care Manager of the Young Adult Services Team, an Administrative Support IV staff is being sought to support our broad Housing and Young Adult Services. The successful incumbent will have relevant work experience to support a manager or other leaders (e.g. Care Managers, Program Managers) as they will support multiple managers with RMS, recruitment, onboarding, and timekeeping. Your excellent communication skills, positive attitude, flexible and professional approach and organizational skills will ensure the completion of various responsibilities. Some associated tasks related to this position include scheduling, preparing and distributing confidential information and supporting documents for a wide range of meetings, drafting and formatting a variety of correspondence and documents including letters, memos, reports, presentations, agendas, and minutes. Maintenance of electronics inventory, the staff schedule, timekeeping, and payroll and filling purchase request orders. Cross-training and providing coverage for administrative team colleagues including front desk coverage. Maintaining composure and professionalism in an often-changing environment with shifting and time sensitive priorities and expectations is a day-to-day occurrence. Excellent planning, attention to detail, and interpersonal and time management skills are required. The work of this position requires a strong understanding of the organization, processes used for multiple tasks, and the ability to problem-solve issues and concerns that come forward.

As an Administrative Support IV, you will require advanced administrative or specialized skills and knowledge to support complex procedures, practices and initiatives within a department or program.

Some post-secondary education.

Previous experience supporting programs within the Addiction and Mental Health context. Current CPR certification. Proficient in Connect Care, Excel, e-People, RMS, MS Office Suite, SharePoint, and the management of shared drives. Front reception experience. This position has been identified and is anticipated to transition to Recovery Alberta effective September 1, 2024.
