Description
Reporting to the Site Executive Director, Site Administration, RAH, with supervision by the Sr. Consultant, Patient and Provider Experience Office (PPEO), the Administrative Support V is an advanced position that supports the management, leadership and PPEO team within the RAH Site. The Administrative Support V works with minimal guidance in an independent manner and supports the PPEO program and Site Administration portfolio, along with all patient and provider experience programming initiatives across the RAH site (i.e., PPE 2-day Summit). The incumbent provides leadership to administrative staff, acts as a delegate for the manager and addresses operational issues, manages complexities in vetting and booking keynote speakers, provides clerical and accreditation support, quality and data reporting and support to the Site Executive Director and Sr. Consultant, PPEO, RAH and teams. The role includes providing extensive independent day to day support in the management of teams and individuals within the PPEO and RAH Site, including but not limited to data, quality, human resources, and program development. The incumbent is required to have an extensive knowledge and skills and able to function with a high degree of independence within a healthcare environment. Coverage is required for Administrative Support positions in the Senior Operating Officer (SOO) and Site Executive Director, Site Administration, as needed.
As an Administrative Support V, you will require advanced administrative or specialized skills and knowledge to support complex procedures, practices and initiatives within a department or program.
Completion of post-secondary education (e.g. certificate in office or business administration).
A minimum of five years' experience in progressively responsible senior administrative positions within a healthcare based organization is required. Advanced/intermediate knowledge of computer technology and applications including but not limited to: Microsoft Word, Access, Excel, Outlook email, and PowerPoint are required. Excellent customer service skills, written and verbal communication, and ability to work under pressure with minimal supervision are required.
Scheduling experience with planning and mapping schedules an asset. Event planning and coordination experience an asset. Understanding of medical terminology and hospital/OR procedures an asset. Experience with additional software an asset.
