About the role

We are looking for a passionate and strategic Business Development Manager to join our team. In a highly competitive market, this person will play a key role in growing the business by developing and maintaining strong relationships with automotive retailers. The ideal candidate is a strong negotiator with in-depth knowledge of the automotive sector and a clear vision of market trends.


Track Garantie is currently planning its development of the Ontario market. With that naturally comes the need to hire fully bilingual team members.

Main responsibilities

Business development and sales

  • Identify, prospect and conclude partnerships with new automotive retailers.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing partners to optimize their commitment to our products.
  • Develop sales and loyalty strategies adapted to market needs.
  • Analyze the competition and adjust sales approaches to maintain a competitive edge.
  • Make powerful presentations to dealers to demonstrate the added value of our extended warranties.

Strategy and market vision

  • Monitor automotive market trends, including the evolution of electric vehicles, new technologies and consumer preferences.
  • Propose adjustments and innovations based on changes in the industry to ensure the company's competitiveness.
  • Work with management to define strategic orientations and contribute to the company's positioning.

Representation and communication

  • Act as a brand ambassador by embodying the values of caring, respect, integrity, innovation and excellence.
  • Ensure an active presence at events and car shows to maximize the company's visibility.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by supporting partners in implementing and optimizing our solutions.

Performance management and monitoring

  • Monitor performance indicators and produce regular reports on progress towards objectives.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure effective implementation of sales strategies.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement and propose solutions to optimize results.
  • Participate in events to raise Track Garantie's profile.

  • In-depth knowledge of the automotive market and emerging trends.
  • Strong network of contacts in the automotive industry (an asset).
  • Strong entrepreneurial spirit, results-oriented.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
  • Strong ability to adapt in a competitive environment.
  • Strategic thinking and ability to anticipate market trends.
  • High degree of autonomy, rigor, organizational skills and good time management.
  • Commitment to the values of caring, respect, integrity, innovation and excellence.
  • Ability to establish rapport with customers, present information and answer questions effectively.
  • Ability to solve practical problems and take multiple variables into account.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Ability and interest to work on the road.
  • Results-oriented with a strong ability to close sales and meet targets
  • Bilingualism, both oral and written (communication in French is very important since our team is predominantly French-speaking, but communication in English is essential since we now serve a growing English-speaking clientele).
