Job Summary

The Team
The Contract Management Modernization (CMM) team is a small, dedicated group working to improve contract management across the Ministry. We believe in collaboration and value diverse perspectives, making sure everyone’s voice is heard. The team works with experts in different fields to make a real difference in how services are delivered to children, youth, young adults, and families in British Columbia.

The Role
As a Business Analyst, you'll be at the heart of meaningful changes that help improve services for children, youth, young adults, and families in British Columbia. You'll work closely with different teams and stakeholders, analyzing current processes and finding ways to make things better. If you love diving into projects, leading discussions, and making a real impact, this role could be a great fit for you.

Qualifications:
Education and Experience Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Public Administration, Business Administration, Statistics, or a field related to the program area and 2 years of *related experience; OR
  • Diploma in Public Administration, Business Administration, Statistics, or a field related to the program area and 3 years *related experience; OR
  • Certificate or coursework in Public Administration, Business Administration, Statistics, or a field related to the program area and 4 years *related experience; OR
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.


*Related experience includes the following:

  • Experience in analyzing and evaluating business performance.
  • Experience in developing business processes, procedures and workflows mapping.
  • Experience evaluating and analyzing contract terms and conditions.
  • Experience working in a large client focused business operations environment with multiple program areas.


Preference may be given to applicants with:

  • Five (5) or more years of related experience.
  • Project Management Certification.
  • Graduate Degree in a related field.
  • Change Management Certification.

These positions can be based out of any of the locations listed above.
Flexible work options are available; these positions may be able to work up to 4 days at home per week subject to an approved telework agreement.
These are temporary opportunities until 10/31/2025. Permanent appointments may result from these temporary appointments.
An eligibility list may be established to fill future temporary and permanent vacancies.
