Job Summary

The Team
The Corporate Planning & Priorities team is a multidisciplinary group dedicated to supporting transformation projects across the Ministry. As a Training & Development Analyst, you will be part of the new Communications and Change team, working alongside a diverse group of professionals to provide critical training, change management, and communication support. We believe in fostering an inclusive environment where every team member’s expertise contributes to meaningful outcomes for children, youth, young adults, and families in BC.

The Role
As a Training & Development Analyst, you will create and lead training programs to help staff deliver important services to children, youth, young adults, and families in BC. Your work will ensure that both new and existing staff have the tools and support they need to succeed. This role offers a chance to join a new team where your collaborative spirit and creative approach to training will help build a supportive and inclusive workplace culture from the ground up!

Qualifications:
Education and Experience Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Adult Education, communications, public administration, business administration, social sciences, or a related field, and a minimum of two (2) years of *related experience.
  • An equivalent combination of post-secondary education and experience may be considered.


*Related experience must include all of the following:

  • Experience leading multidisciplinary teams, managing and monitoring results and performance.
  • Experience developing and writing training and development management plans and reporting materials.
  • Experience researching, analyzing, planning, and applying training and development strategies.
  • Experience managing projects and/or project components.
  • Experience communicating effectively to a variety of audiences using multiple methods, including delivering training to diverse multidisciplinary subject matters experts in person and virtually.
  • Experience developing and delivering training via a learning management platform (e.g. Open Schools BC, Noverant, PSA Learning Hub, LMS365, etc.).


Preference may be given to candidates:

  • Master’s Degree or higher in a related field.
  • Three (3) or more years of *related experience.
  • Experience supporting corporate training, development, and operational implementation.
  • Experience supporting a large multidisciplinary client focused organization.
  • Completed Project Management Professional Designation or Certified Associate in Project Management.

About this Position:
This position can be based out of any of the locations listed above.
Flexible work options are available; this position may be able to work up to 4 days at home per week subject to an approved telework agreement.
