Your Opportunity

We are looking for a Cloud Security, Consultant, to join the Cloud Security Engineering team and own the following responsibilities:

  • Ability to collaborate with clients and internal team members to ensure project goals and objectives are met.

  • Deliver high quality work in collaboration with other teams on time and within budget.

  • Perform reviews of cloud security architectures/implementations and provide risk-based recommendations.

  • Assist in the identification of automation opportunities both internally and for clients.

  • Collaborating with a team to execute the implementation of security controls.

  • Research current cloud security technology advancements, trends, and directions to enhance existing service offerings and\or client challenges.

  • Participate in the development of solutions to address client’s unique cloud security challenges.

  • Participate and lead aspects of the proposal development process.

Your experience and education

You have 1 to 3 years of relevant work experience and firsthand experience with:

  • Experience and\or knowledge in various aspects of cloud security, such as identity and access management, logging and monitoring, data security and cloud reference architecture.

  • Basic comprehension of networking concepts

  • Awareness of application security concepts and how to design and architect applications securely

  • Familiarity with security evaluations and audit frameworks for the cloud - Cloud Security Alliance CCM, CIS, NIST Cloud Reference Architecture

  • Knowledge of security risks in the cloud and how to fix and apply controls.

  • Preferred hands-on experience with cloud platforms, such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure and\or Google Cloud

  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal

  • Ability to explain complex technical concepts, work with cross-functional teams, and provide clear documentation.

  • Ability to prepare comprehensive proposals and reports to convey technical information to various stakeholders.

  • Ability to work within a team both in-person and remotely.

AND knowledge of:

  • SANS Institute - CIS Critical Security Controls

  • The Cloud Security Alliance Cloud Controls Matrix (CCM)

  • OWASP Top Ten

  • NIST Standards

  • Cybersecurity Best Practices

It’s an asset if you have one or more of the following certifications and/or education:

  • College Diploma or University Degree in Cyber Security, Information Security or Computer Science

  • Advanced certification in one or more cloud service platforms including Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services, and Google Cloud Platform
