The Marketing Manager, Home Financing is accountable for executing marketing strategies and tactics to help meet business objectives of Home Financing, while maintaining a strong and collaborative relationship with our product partners to help drive retention and renewals.

In this role, you will translate Home Financing program strategies into marketing communication tactics, create relevant marketing materials that adhere to brand strategy and are compliant with legal and regulatory disclosure requirements, optimize where needed to drive measurable impact against business results, and implement marketing materials across multiple channels including email, direct mail, digital and more.

  • 10%: Marketing Planning
  • 85%: Campaign & Initiative Execution
  • 5%: Risk Management & Control

Marketing Planning:

  • Conduct research to support the planning process, including competitive intelligence, consumer insights, market trends, and best practices
  • Help develop business cases to support decision-making and obtain approvals to execute new programs
  • Support in the development of the annual marketing plan

Campaign & Initiative Execution:

  • Manage day-to-day requirements to deliver targeted campaigns & initiatives, including planning/delivery, copywriting, stakeholder reviews/approvals, translation, launch, and fulfillment
  • Manage stakeholder engagement by socializing details of initiatives to relevant partners in order to ensure alignment and availability of required resources
  • Support thought leadership on lifecycle initiatives, including the development of communications for our existing Home Financing clients
  • Manage content and updates for key product documents, including the public website product pages and brochures, ensuring effectiveness in conversion and accuracy
  • Track and analyze data and outcomes of initiatives to measure effectiveness

Risk Management & Control:

  • Work with Legal and Compliance teams to ensure consumer-facing materials are compliant with current rules and regulations
  • Manage audit requirements by ensuring appropriate approvals are documented

Who You Are & Experience You Bring to the Role:

  • Typically, between 2-3 years of relevant experience and post-secondary degree in related field of study.
  • Degree/diploma degree in business, marketing, finance or related field.
  • Experience working in a variety of marketing disciplines including demonstrated experience in customer relationship management (CRM) programs, email marketing, digital marketing, direct marketing and marketing analytics.
  • Superior verbal & written communication skills.
  • Excellent relationship management skills with demonstrated ability to consult, influence, and collaborate effectively with colleagues across levels of seniority and business groups
  • Strong proficiency in using PowerPoint, Excel and Word
  • Data driven decision making
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Commitment to excellence in execution with keen attention to detail
  • Results-oriented, self-motivated and driven
  • Experience in the financial services industry preferred

Salary:

$54,500.00 - $101,500.00

The above represents BMO Financial Group’s pay range and type.

Salaries will vary based on factors such as location, skills, experience, education, and qualifications for the role, and may include a commission structure. Salaries for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on number of hours regularly worked. For commission roles, the salary listed above represents BMO Financial Group’s expected target for the first year in this position.

BMO Financial Group’s total compensation package will vary based on the pay type of the position and may include performance-based incentives, discretionary bonuses, as well as other perks and rewards.
