The GenAI Senior Product Manger will support the organization in building deep learning and generative AI capabilities. You will play a pivotal role in shaping the development and implementation of our generative AI product and will be responsible for programs that leverage generative AI technologies across different departments within the company. The incumbent will play a key integration role and will drive use cases forward in close collaboration with partners across NA P&BB (inclusive of DACoE, product, channels, process, and distribution), technology, governance, and with external vendors. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of breaking down complex problems into steps that drive product development. The ideal candidate will also understand prompt engineering, build domain-specific models leveraging (ideally) vector search, and/or have experience with fine-tuning LLMs (Large Language Models).

We are looking for a seasoned product owner/consultant who specializes in Generative AI. You have practical experience with Generative AI, excellent analytical skills, and a thorough knowledge of business processes. You are skilled in leading requirement workshops, process design sessions, feature elaboration discussions and communicating with engineers and developers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Product Strategy and Vision: Define and articulate the product vision and strategy for multiple generative AI applications, ensuring alignment with the company's strategic objectives and market demand.
  • Roadmap Development: Develop and maintain a product roadmap, prioritizing features and initiatives based on business impact, customer value, and technological feasibility.
  • Product Lifecycle Management: Manage the entire product lifecycle, from conception through launch, growth, and eventual sunset. Make data-driven decisions to iterate, improve, or pivot product features and strategies.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to elicit, analyze, and document business requirements for Generative AI initiatives.
  • Design and model new processes, incorporating technology solutions to support business objectives and improve user experience.
  • Integrate your technical knowledge, subject matter expertise, and understanding of trends to make sound decisions and influence business direction through data-driven analysis.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Communicate effectively with stakeholders and senior leadership, translating complex AI concepts into understandable insights and updates.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Experience:

  • Minimal 5 years experience in product management, with a significant focus on AI-driven products. Experience with generative AI technologies is highly desirable.
  • Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of AI, GenAI and machine learning concepts and technologies. Familiarity with the development, deployment, and scaling of AI products.
  • Proven ability to develop product strategies and visions. Experience conducting market research, competitive analysis, and identifying customer needs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the experience to interact effectively with cross-functional teams and senior leadership.
  • Expertise in Software Product Management disciplines such building roadmaps, systems operations, and regular maintenance cycle management.

Salary:

$92,400.00 - $171,600.00

Salaries will vary based on factors such as location, skills, experience, education, and qualifications for the role, and may include a commission structure. Salaries for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on number of hours regularly worked. For commission roles, the salary listed above represents BMO Financial Group’s expected target for the first year in this position.
