Description
We are seeking a strategic communications advisor reporting to the team lead, Strategic communications and I&T communities, to assist in planning and executing the overall communications strategy for the Information and Technology (I&T) group. In this role, you will utilize your expertise and passion for technology by creating communication plans and crafting engaging content to promote the department's strategy and initiatives to internal stakeholders. You will work within a dynamic team and have the chance to collaborate in support of technological transformation projects, as well as with the corporate communications team on matters that need to be communicated to all employees.
YOU’LL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO:
Contribute to the development and implementation of communication plans to support various projects within management and other departments.
Create engaging, relevant content for a variety of internal communication channels, including presentations, memos, newsletters, videos, and employee-focused websites.
Ensure the integration, consistency, and effective deployment of internal communications across different platforms.
Improve the visual appearance and narrative communication of the materials produced by the service and ensure adherence to the brand's visual identity, while achieving uniformity in the content produced by the service.
Assist the team in managing training and development tools aimed at strengthening the skills of I&T department employees.
Regularly evaluate communications and their effectiveness, and implement new approaches and strategies to improve engagement and effectiveness.
YOU’LL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND QUALITIES:
Studies in communications or any other related discipline.
Strong writing skills and the ability to simplify a complex message by visually presenting it in a straightforward manner across various communication channels.
Excellent command of French and English, both spoken and written (essential), and the ability to communicate and produce messages with internal and external stakeholders outside of Quebec or unilingual English speakers on a daily basis.
Attention to detail, analytical skills, and organization.
The ability to work in a dynamic, multidisciplinary, multi-tasking environment with tight and changing deadlines.
The ability to work collaboratively and develop strong interpersonal relationships.
As an inquiring mind, you aren't afraid to ask questions to ensure that files are complete and free from inconsistencies.
Comfortable with strategic content and able to perform your role while maintaining the confidentiality of certain materials.
Strong knowledge of visualizing messages on PowerPoint and Google Slides.
This permanent position will be based in Montréal or Valcourt.
