Digital merchandising associate manager will own all direct-fulfillment programs, online integration of core merchandising strategies, and optimization of product assortments to create customer focused, omni-channel experiences. Responsibilities include driving omni-channel sales and improving customer satisfaction.
Reporting to the digital Merchandising Manager, this role will work cross-functionally and have financial accountability.

Your role :
· Assortment & Strategy:
o Manage the Online Only product assortment for assigned merchandising divisions, ensuring a strategic and compelling selection.
o Collaborate with the Online Experience team and Core Merchants to define roadmaps for product assortments and category experience initiatives.
o Oversee the pricing strategy for Online Onlky assortments, ensuring competitiveness and profitability.
o Execute the divisional merchandising strategy, considering key business drivers, competitive landscape, and customer acquisition opportunities.
· Sales & Performance Optimization:
o Drive online sales and margin growth by optimizing the customer experience and increasing average order value (AOV).
o Develop merchandising plans based on customer insights, brand strategy, and e-commerce goals to enhance sales, site conversion, UX, and product discovery.
o Work closely with the Marketing team and vendors to plan and execute sales and promotional initiatives.
o Analyze key performance metrics, including sales, conversion rates, bounce rates, AOV, add-to-cart rates, and out-of-stock trends, providing actionable insights.
· Site Experience & Optimization:
o Partner with the Category Experience team to enhance on-site product recommendations, upselling/cross-selling opportunities, and search functionality.
o Support the optimization of site navigation, search performance, category structures, and product page updates based on best practices.
o Identify opportunities to improve website content, features, and internal processes, working cross-functionally to implement enhancements.
· Research & Insights:
o Conduct customer and competitor research to identify best-in-class merchandising practices and inform decision-making.
o Develop a deep understanding of assigned categories and customer shopping behaviors through extensive online research.
o Leverage data analysis and reporting to identify opportunities for growth and improvement aligned with category strategies.
· Collaboration & Leadership:
o Support merchandising teams in executing strategic objectives and key initiatives.
o Manage day-to-day relationships with external vendors to optimize partnerships.
o Work closely with leadership and cross-functional teams to enhance website functionality and performance.
The qualification we are looking for :
o Bachelor’s degree (BA, BCom) or equivalent.
o Minimum 3 years of experience in online merchandising, digital merchandising, category management, or customer experience (CX), preferably in a retail or e-commerce environment.
o Strong analytical skills with experience using data-driven insights to improve performance, conversion rates, and sales.
o Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables).
o Experience with web analytics tools such as Google Analytics or Adobe Analytics (preferred).
o Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
o Experience working with multiple vendors and cross-functional teams.
o Strong communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
o Ability to lead both directly and through influence.
o A proactive, self-starter mindset with the ability to bring clarity and define solutions in complex situations.
