Description
As a member of the Global Product Strategy (GPS) team and reporting to the side-by-side (SSV) product manager, you will have the opportunity to shape the future of the SSV industry. You’ll be a key contributor in the product development process by bringing consumer insight, competitors’ analysis and market trends. You will make recommendations to capture potential opportunities and develop competitive advantages.
YOU’LL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO:
Product development
Conduct detailed analyses based on industry, market and customer data to identify and evaluate opportunities for product development;
Closely work with your Engineering and Design peers to convert product features into product benefits;
Develop appealing product presentation and assets to showcase Can-Am competitive advantages that will be used by sales, marketing or management;
Actively support our volume planning, pricing process and business cases exercises.
Market insight
Track and analyze competitor information on a global scale (sales volumes, pricing, specifications, on-line discussions, etc), and maintain our product databases;
Follow market trends and contributes to our annual Market Trends Update for the Management;
Lead consumer oriented market researchs;
Connect with our Regions all over the world to bring every consumer’s realities into the product discussions.
Product launches and training
Support thegmarketing and sales teams in the launch of new products;
Contribute to the development of training strategies and training sessions for our sales team and dealers.
YOU’LL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND QUALITIES:
Bachelor’s degree in administration, strategy, marketing or engineering;
Minimum of three years of experience in sales, analyst or marketing related positions;
Bilingualism required, both oral and written (French/English) in order to communicate with internal stakeholders located outside Quebec or unilingual English on a daily basis.
Solid project management skills;
Ability to work on multiple projects at the same time;
Innovative, analytical, detail oriented and quick-learner;
Team player;
Passion for powersports products.
