We are seeking a Manager, Global Procurement, who will report to the Director, Global Procurement, to work with BRP's key senior management stakeholders and exert a decisive impact on the indirect purchasing process. In this role, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills in a complex and global business environment while overseeing the development of your team.

YOU’LL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO:

  • Understand the operational needs of the amenities assigned to you.

  • Support daily purchases to ensure the proper functioning of assigned services.

  • Establish robust business partnerships and engage with key stakeholders to understand their strategies, challenges, and opportunities.

  • Develop a strong understanding of the market and suppliers, then propose ideas for the categories you manage to become a trusted advisor to your key stakeholders.

  • Direct your team's purchasing operations by executing procurement initiatives from start to finish.

  • Lead and implement cost reduction initiatives.

  • Foster a culture of team engagement where meeting customer expectations and upholding ethical, sound business practices are the absolute priority.

YOU’LL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND QUALITIES:

  • A bachelor's degree in administration, commerce, engineering, or a related field.

  • Recognized interpersonal skills; team spirit and a partnership mentality, capable of acting both as a leader and individual contributor.

  • At least 8 to 10 years of experience in purchasing/strategic sourcing/category management for indirect categories within a product development and consumer engagement organization.

  • Effective communication to lead and manage both local and remote team members.

  • Bilingualism in both French and English is necessary, as the person in this role will represent BRP with suppliers internationally and will have daily interactions with internal departments across our global sites.
