THE ROLECFMWS is looking for a strategic and experienced IM/IT leader to manage the Strategy and Planning function of the Information Services Division. They are responsible for developing and implementing the IM/IT strategic plan that aligns with the CFMWS Strategy, IT Risk Management, and Divisional Performance Management Framework. Their responsibilities also include management and oversight of the divisional budget, Enterprise Architecture, Procurement, Communications, and general coordination function across the entire division.
The ideal candidate thinks innovatively, strategically and long-term while creating practical solutions to address a variety of divisional needs. They are very well organized and great at managing the big picture. They can quickly adapt to changes and seamlessly transition from one initiative to another without losing tempo. At the same time, they can focus their attention on the specific goals and objectives and engage in detailed work.
The ideal candidate maintains close relationships with colleagues and peers inside and outside of the IS Division. They enjoy collaboration and love being a part of the team.
QUALIFICATIONS NEEDEDEducation, Certifications and Licenses
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Commerce, Computer Engineering or a related field, AND several years of progressive managerial experience in Information Management and Information Technology or a related field

OTHER INFORMATIONThis is a hybrid position with an assigned work location allowing the employee to work partly from a corporate office and partly from a home office in accordance with the CFMWS Flexible Work Options Policy, and with approval from the direct manager.
