We are looking for a GIS student to join our Analytics, Data and Reporting team. You will have the opportunity to collaborate with members of the Development Operations and Asset Retirement teams as we work together to build planning maps and digitize data. • Term length: 8 months
• Term start: January, May & September 2025
• Job location: Calgary, AB - Head Office
• Shift schedule: 5 x 2 - 8 hours (Monday - Friday)
• Safety sensitive position: Yes

Key Accountabilities:

• Support Development Operations and Asset Retirement teams through digitizing of project surveys, collecting/filing of required spatial data, and generation or program maps
• Acquire hands-on experience with several widely-used industry software programs including ArcGIS Map, ArcGIS Pro, FME and Global Mapper
• Gain exposure to various aspects of site operations including scouting, earthworks, and reclamation

What You Bring to The Role:

• Currently enrolled in your 2nd year of a GIS program
• Motivated, collaborative, organized, and able to manage competing priorities
