Job description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Finance Systems Support Associate to join our team in Canada. As a Finance Systems Support Associate, you will play a critical role in unifying processes across various communities within Capgemini, ensuring flawless finance operations in North America. This is a unique opportunity to work with a world-class organization and make a significant impact on our operational success.

This is a 12 month fixed term contract role with possibility of full time conversion.

Location - Toronto/Montreal/Calgary/Vancouver

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Support all systems (e.g. GFS, GTE, Business Objects) and communities impacting NA Finance Operations. These communities include but are not limited to the NAAC teams, HR, Payroll, Procurement, Capgemini Group Finance, and Group IT.
  • Manage process documentation and ensure accuracy and completeness
  • Collaborate with the Finance Community to identify and address system issues
  • Maintain SharePoint platform and ensure smooth operation
  • Contribute to special projects and initiatives
  • Fulfill other duties as required
  • Occasional travel may be required

Required Skills

  • Strong understanding of Capgemini's finance operations, including close, forecast, budget, and revenue recognition
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in Oracle R12 / SAP
  • Competent understanding of finance system linkages and flows
  • Demonstrated leadership and project management skills
  • Proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and SharePoint
  • Good to have skills in Visio and MS Project
  • Excellent communication skills with ability to support responsibilities independently and timely completion of tasks, exercising due diligence
  • Demonstrated ability of being organized and a creative thinker with exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
