Description
The principal and customary work consists in performing administrative functions according to methods and procedures of a relatively complex nature. Under supervision, carries out accounting operations of a relatively complex nature which are related more particularly to accounts receivable and accounts payable for the College; performs routine clerical duties such as typing, filing, photocopying, etc.
DUTIES:
- Automated Extraction of the Call for Proposals
- Actively participate in the analysis and use of the Annual Financial Report (RFA) structure to perform the necessary data extractions.
- Contribute to the implementation of processes related to SIFA to ensure compliance and efficiency.
- Utilize the Clara software for project needs, ensuring access to the required specific functionalities.
- Identify the specific access requirements in Clara necessary to complete the projects.
- Participate in the development of the work plan for RFA data entry and obtain approval.
- Execute the work plan for RFA data entry.
- Preparation for the End of the Fiscal Year
- Organize the Annual Financial Report and the RFA audit file for 2023-2024.
- Create and update a reconciliation file for all balance sheet components.
- Enter the initial balances into the spreadsheets using Clara BV.
- Management Information Tool
- Utilize the MES Budgetary Regime to guide financial decisions.
- Gather the needs and capacities of end users.
- Develop a work plan for the deployment of a centralized communication tool for specific annexes and obtain approval.
- Explore the possibilities of integrating a database with AI-assisted search capabilities to facilitate searches by nature of expenses.
- Perform other related tasks as needed.
- Must have a secondary school diploma (DES) in an appropriate specialty, or a diploma or attestation recognized as equivalent by the competent authority.
- Must have at least one (1) year of pertinent experience.
- Must possess very good communication skills in English and in French (oral, written and comprehension).
- Experience as a user with Microsoft Office, Teams and Outlook is essential.
