Sr. PM - MRA - Regulatory Reporting

Position Description:

This role is hybrid and requires you to be at our downtown Toronto (250 Yonge St, Toronto) and/or Client office.
We are looking for a highly motivated Project Manager with proven program delivery experience to join the US CUSO team in Finance and Audit IT. This individual will be responsible for all aspects of program delivery: develop and manage the detailed schedule, identify early warning indicators, provide direction for early resolution of risks, issues and clear escalation path for program committees.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

• Assist with the execution of MRA/MRIA regulatory programs, ensuring alignment with project plans and timelines across multiple applications and teams.
• Maintain project plans, RAID logs (risks, assumptions, issues, and dependencies), and ensure accurate status tracking and reporting.
• Coordinate with central teams to translate high-level requirements into actionable projects deliverables.
• Support estimation efforts, financial tracking, and preparation of PAR submissions.
• Monitor project milestones and escalate risks and issues to program managers and leadership as needed.
• Prepare status updates and executive-level materials for FIAT governance forums and senior leadership meetings.
• Facilitate cross-functional team collaboration and communication to address project dependencies and resolve impediments.
• Track resource allocations and ensure adherence to project budgets and timelines.
• Ensure compliance with Clients procedures and processes throughout the project lifecycle.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

• Undergraduate degree with 7+ years of experience in project management or related roles, preferably in IT or financial services.
• Experience managing or supporting complex projects with multiple stakeholders.
• Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., waterfall, agile) and tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Sharepoint, Confluence, or similar).
• Proven ability to track, report, and escalate project risks, issues, and dependencies.
• Utilize data analysis to track project performance identify risks and drive continuous improvement.
• Basic proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Tableau) to interpret and visualize key metrics.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, matrix environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to make data-backed decisions.
• Communicate effectively with teams and leadership, translating data into actionable recommendations.

Nice-to-have:

• PMP, Agile or CSM certification.
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements in the financial services industry.
• Experience supporting large-scale IT or transformation programs
• Knowledge of financial tracking and budgeting.
