Wire Payments QA Lead

Position Description:

This role is hybrid and requires you to be in our downtown Toronto office (250 Yonge Street) / client office 2-3 times per week - subject to change at any time.

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead QA Tester to join our team, specializing in Wire Payments. The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience with SWIFT MT & MX Payments and a proven track record in leading QA teams. This role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to manage client and vendor relationships effectively.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

• Lead QA Initiatives: Oversee and manage QA activities in the Wire Payments domain, ensuring high-quality deliverables.
• SWIFT Payments Expertise: Utilize extensive hands-on experience with SWIFT MT & MX Payments to guide testing processes and troubleshoot issues.
• Team Leadership: Provide leadership and mentorship to the QA team, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
• Testing Tools Proficiency: Leverage experience with testing tools such as Parasoft SOA Test and PyCharm to enhance testing efficiency and accuracy.
• Communication: Maintain clear and effective communication with clients and vendors, addressing any concerns and ensuring alignment with project goals.
• Documentation: Prepare and maintain comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test reports.
• Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices in QA methodologies.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

• Proven experience in a lead role within the Wire Payments QA area.
• Extensive hands-on experience with SWIFT MT & MX Payments.
• Strong team leadership skills with prior experience managing QA teams.
• Proficiency in testing tools such as Parasoft SOA Test and PyCharm.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience in client and vendor handling.
