POSITION DESCRIPTION:
We are currently looking for a Head Chef to fill a permanent full-time position, 40 hours per week, daytime from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and every other weekend.
Schedule: a full-time position during the day, approximately 40 hours per week.
ROLE AND GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure good teamwork
- Ensure and optimize quality standards in the use of food
- Perform meal preparation while supervising and mobilizing staff in the kitchen
- Perform other related duties
- Take inventory of service materials and while adhering to the budgets, proceed with procurement if necessary
- Use products and equipment according to the safety, quality, hygiene and cleanliness rules and standards in effect
- A proffesional studies dimploma (DEP) in institutional cuisine or equivelent
- Basic computer skills
- Significant experience
- 3 to 5 years of experience in management
