POSITION DESCRIPTION:
The Revenue Manager is responsible for optimizing the company's revenues by developing and implementing effective pricing procedures and strategies.
ROLE AND GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Collaborate with operations to ensure the effective use of revenue systems and proper application of guidelines
- Collaborate with the operations, finance, sales and marketing teams to develop revenue strategies and performance objectives for the national portfolio of private seniors' residences (RPA)
- Develop strategies to maximize additional revenue opportunities created by renovations and other improvement projects
- Develop, maintain and communicate a revenue management dashboard
- Develop, manage and maximize apartment rates and pricing strategies to achieve occupancy targets aligned with objectives
- Establish and implement revenue management strategies and guidelines across all platforms
- Maximize revenue and profits through budget, pricing and demand analysis
- Optimize revenue generation opportunities through competitor analysis, industry monitoring, and market modeling tools
- Other related duties as assigned
- Prepare and communicate revenue management reports to the RPA leadership team
- Respect and promote the organization's values and philosophy, particularly in terms of ethics, morality and integrity
- Work closely with the development team to assess the revenue potential of new properties
- Bachelor's degree, preferably with a specialization in economics, business, finance or statistics
- 3-5 years of progressive revenue management experience in a large organization, preferably in the RPA and hospitality industry
- Demonstrated proficiency in revenue management systems, property management systems, and business intelligence tools. Knowledge of Yardi is an asset
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to understand, interpret and evaluate complex data or business proposals to formulate recommendations and highlights
- Good understanding of revenue management concepts, processes and systems
- Occasional travel to Mississauga, representing approximately 10% of working time, covered by the company
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
- Bilingualism (English/French) required
