Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and technically proficient Cloud Support Specialist to provide expert-level support for our cloud infrastructure and services. As a Cloud Support Specialist, you will troubleshoot and resolve cloud-related issues, assist with cloud service deployments, and help ensure the efficient and secure operation of our cloud environments. You will work closely with internal teams, vendors, and customers to address technical challenges, provide guidance, and deliver top-notch support for cloud-based applications and services.

Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and technically proficient Cloud Support Specialist to provide expert-level support for our cloud infrastructure and services. As a Cloud Support Specialist, you will troubleshoot and resolve cloud-related issues, assist with cloud service deployments, and help ensure the efficient and secure operation of our cloud environments. You will work closely with internal teams, vendors, and customers to address technical challenges, provide guidance, and deliver top-notch support for cloud-based applications and services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support for cloud-based infrastructure and services, including troubleshooting and resolving issues related to cloud resources such as virtual machines, networking, storage, databases, and applications.
- Respond to service interruptions, performance issues, and escalated cloud-related incidents, ensuring timely resolution and minimal downtime.
- Identify and resolve cloud infrastructure issues, such as performance bottlenecks, misconfigurations, and access problems, while ensuring adherence to best practices.
- Assist in the deployment, configuration, and ongoing maintenance of cloud resources and services, ensuring system reliability and availability.
- Work with IT, DevOps, and development teams to troubleshoot cloud environments, support cloud service implementation, and optimize the use of cloud technologies.
- Provide clear and concise support to internal teams and external customers, offering solutions, advice, and guidance for using cloud-based solutions effectively.
- Maintain comprehensive technical documentation on cloud configurations, issues, resolutions, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistent support and operational efficiency.
- Set up and monitor cloud health metrics, alerts, and logs to proactively identify issues before they impact service delivery.
- Assist with the monitoring of cloud security settings, including user access, roles, and permissions, and collaborate with security teams to address potential vulnerabilities.
- Conduct training sessions and provide knowledge transfer to internal staff and users to help them better understand cloud technologies and resolve common issues independently.
- Experience in providing support for cloud services, preferably in platforms such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.
- Technical troubleshooting skills in cloud infrastructure components, including virtual machines, networking, storage, and databases.
- Familiarity with cloud-based monitoring tools such as Azure Monitor, AWS CloudWatch, or similar services to detect, log, and resolve issues.
- Proficiency in cloud management tools such as Azure Portal, AWS Console, or other cloud service dashboards for service monitoring and configuration.
- Experience with cloud security practices, including access control, permissions, and securing cloud resources.
- Strong knowledge of scripting and automation tools such as PowerShell, Azure CLI, AWS CLI, or Python to automate troubleshooting tasks and enhance operational efficiency.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team to address cloud issues quickly and effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical issues in a clear, concise manner to non-technical users.
- Problem-solving mindset with the ability to diagnose root causes and implement effective solutions under pressure.
- Cloud certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals, AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, or Google Associate Cloud Engineer.
- Familiarity with DevOps tools and cloud automation (e.g., Terraform, Ansible, Jenkins) for deploying and managing infrastructure.
- Experience with cloud-based networking concepts, including VPNs, load balancers, firewalls, and DNS.
- Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience in providing support for SaaS, PaaS, and IaaS environments.
- Ability to collaborate with external vendors and third-party support teams to resolve more complex cloud-related issues.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- At least 1-3 years of experience in cloud support, system administration, or a related technical support role.
