We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Marketing Manager to join our Marketing, Customer Insights and Strategy (MCIS) team and steer the Marketing center of excellence within Gas Distribution and Storage (GDS).

This role is critical for the development and an ongoing enhancement of cohesive and integrated marketing strategies that align with our corporate goals and drive substantial growth. Additionally, this role offers strategic leadership and guidance to a diverse marketing team, which is instrumental in fostering a high-performance culture characterized by creativity, accountability, and professional development.

What You Will Do

  • Collaborate with senior leadership to craft marketing strategies that bolster business objectives and foster growth.

  • Direct and manage all marketing activities, including resource allocation, accountability, and prioritization.

  • Supervise and mentor a diverse team of marketing professionals, fostering a culture of creativity and continuous improvement.

Lead the development of annual marketing plans and strategy including:

  • Establishment of goals/targets (2) creation of campaigns/tactics (e.g. digital, print, social, web, mass media), (3) execution of tactics, and (4) tracking and analysis of results for optimization.
  • Monitor and report on the performance of marketing initiatives, making data-driven adjustments as needed.

  • Foster and manage relationships with stakeholders to facilitate ongoing dialogue and collaboration, essential to achieving mutual understanding and adherence to team processes, as well as supporting the attainment of related program goals and objectives.

  • Oversee the creative and experiential marketing agencies, including daily communications, relationship management, and issue resolution.

  • Financial planning and Budget management

Who You Are:

You have the following:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.

  • 10+ years of experience in marketing management or a similar role

  • 5+ years of people leadership experience

  • Agency management experience

  • Strong understanding of digital marketing, SEO, SEM, and social media strategies.

  • Excellent communication, analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred:

  • Related post-secondary education preferred.

  • Previous experience within the energy sector preferred.

  • Knowledge of Enbridge Gas’ energy conservation programs and DSM framework are an asset.

Working Conditions:

This role is primarily office based with occasional travel. A valid Ontario G class Ontario driver’s license and maintenance of a responsible driving record is required.
