In this role, you will be responsible for the methods, procedures, and tools used by Liquids Pipelines Operations teams during all phases of work management to safely carry out field maintenance on Liquids Pipelines assets. You will play a vital role in ensuring the effective design and implementation of work management processes. #joinourteam

Note: We are open to other Liquids Pipelines locations in Canada and the US.

What you will do:

  • Leads development and execution of Liquids Pipelines Field Work Management processes for all phases of work management (Identify, Plan, Schedule, Execute, Close, Analyze). This includes a specific focus on work management processes related to equipment maintenance, SCM (for receiving and requisitioning), PLM work and Terminal Operations.

  • Provides front line deep senior technical expertise and support for Maximo process and technical issues. This includes collaborating with operating Regions, enterprise teams and other business units for sharing of standard processes for work management activities and use of Maximo.

  • Guides regional teams for effective use of processes and tools which includes assisting the Work Management Performance team in the development of training materials and job aids to support work management functions.

  • Discovers and recommends solutions for complex and technical work management data issues and gaps that affect performance, identifying impacts to specific roles based on process and technology changes.

  • Contribute to the development and sustainment of the Liquids Pipelines Field Work Management training and communications program. This includes the design and creation of training content and facilitation of training materials to regional end-users of Maximo and other Field Work Management processes and tools.

Who you are:

  • Related university degree and sevenplus years’ oil & gas, maintenance, or pipeline experience OR tenplus years of previous field operations experience, OR equivalent mix of formal education and experience.

  • Understanding in development and implementation of new processes, work management practices and functions.

  • Knowledge of how enterprise resource planning technologies relate to the business and good understanding of current technologies used in the enterprise.

  • Outstanding organizational skills and detail oriented.

  • Knowledge of how enterprise resource planning technologies relate to the business and good understanding of current technologies used in the enterprise.

  • Uses critical thinking to resolve analytical and technical conflicts.

  • Effectively communicate to internal partners and present both technical and non-technical information.

Working Conditions:

Physical Requirements include but are not limited to:

Grasping, kneeling, light - moderate lifting (objects up to 20 pounds), reaching above shoulder, repetitive motion, typing, sitting, standing, visual requirement (able to see screens, detect color coding, read fine print), hearing requirement and the ability to sit at a computer for long periods of time.
