I am looking for a payroll technician for a 3-month, 1-day mandate in Downtown. This will be in charge of:
- Process bi-weekly payroll in ADP
- Check and validate timesheets and adjustments
- Enter and update employee payroll data (new hires, departures,
- changes, membership in group insurance, FTQ, salary increases, retroactive payments, records of employment (ROE), leave).
- Work closely with HR to ensure accurate and up-to-date documentation of pay changes.
- Perform payroll variance analysis.
- Reconcile Manulife insurance invoices with payroll deductions.
- Reports:
- Provide various ADP reports to HR and managers (monthly headcount, time and attendance reports, etc.).
- Update the monthly vacation accumulation report.
Required skills:
● Strong analytical skills to resolve discrepancies and manage payroll issues.
● Proven experience using ADP.
● Good command of Excel (V searches, pivot tables).
● Knowledge of accounting (an asset).
● Minimum of 4 years of experience.
