We are looking for a passionate and motivated Strategic Buyer to actively contribute to the development and management of our product categories.
This permanent, full-time position is a unique opportunity to play a key role in optimizing our supply chain.

Reporting to the Senior Logistics Manager, your responsibilities include:

Collaborate with key stakeholders to develop innovative purchasing strategies tailored to business needs, leveraging your industry expertise.
Launch and manage procurement initiatives, using your negotiation and analytical skills to secure advantageous pricing terms.
Lead the supplier selection process, ensuring that decisions are based on comprehensive criteria, including quality, delivery and cost.
Prepare tenders, negotiate price contracts, analyze and synthesize supplier responses, then finalize and execute contracts.
Draft and negotiate contracts in collaboration with legal and financial departments to ensure compliance with corporate requirements.
Act as a reference for competitive analysis and identification of emerging technologies in the purchasing categories under your responsibility.
Be a driver of change by developing and executing initiatives to improve the company's purchasing process.
Drive change by developing and executing initiatives to improve productivity and challenge the status quo.
Work closely with stakeholders to ensure implementation of procurement policy and communicate any changes to procurement procedures.

** Please note that this position requires travel within Asia **.

Bachelor's degree in purchasing, logistics, management or a distribution-related field;

4 to 5 years' experience in a similar position;

Any other combination of training and experience deemed relevant;

Knowledge of JDE software, an asset;

Good knowledge of the Office suite, particularly Excel;

Bilingualism essential (spoken and written French and English), as the incumbent will be required to interact on a daily basis with international colleagues, customers and partners who do not speak French;

Excellent organizational skills and ability to multi-task;

Demonstrated ability to demonstrate rigor, ingenuity, initiative and determination;

Strong problem-solving skills;

Ability to work as part of a team, team spirit and strong ability to manage priorities.
