Job Description: TOGETHER WITH THE OTHER MSW SENIOR SOCIAL WORKER, THE INCUMBENT WILL PROVIDE CLINICAL SUPERVISION, TRAINING, AND CASELOAD COORDINATION FOR THE SOCIAL WORK STAFF AT RUH. THE SENIOR SOCIAL WORKER IS ACCOUNTABLE FOR PROVIDING QUALITY SOCIAL WORK SERVICES THROUGH ADVANCED CLINICAL ASSESSMENT AND COUNSELLING SKILLS AND EDUCATIONAL/SUPPORTIVE PROGRAMMING TO PATIENTS AND THEIR FAMILIES.THE CURRENT CLINICAL ASSIGNMENT INCLUDES DIRECT SOCIAL WORK SERVICE TO PATIENTS AND THEIR FAMILIES IN THE EMERGENCY DEPARTMENT AND ON THE WARDS. THE CLINICAL ASSIGNMENT MAY VARY FROM TIME TO TIME. THE SENIOR SOCIAL WORKER WILL DEMONSTRATE LEADERSHIP IN PROGRAM REVIEW AND NEW DIRECTIONS IN SERVICE DELIVERY PATTERNS. THE INCUMBENT WILL PARTICIPATE IN SOCIAL WORK COVERAGE FOR VACATION AND ILLNESS RELIEF.
