Staff Clinician, Life Smart Services

As a Staff Clinician, Life Smart Services, you will be an integral part of a collaborative team focused on delivering seamless services and programs to our clients and customers. What you’ll be doing:

  • Conduct telephone interventions with clients
  • Provide support and coaching services in at least two of the following areas: parenting support, couple relationships, eldercare support, retirement preparation, grief and loss, stress and burnout, and career guidance 

What we’re looking for:

  • Master's degree in Psychology, Education, Counseling, Social Work or equivalent
  • Three to five years of experience in adult and/or mental health intervention
  • Valid registration with the relevant governing body
  • Expertise in solution-focused brief counseling is an asset
  • Knowledge of risk assessment, crisis management and EFAP is an asset
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills; French language skills would be an asset
  • Comfortable with Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Interest in writing resource letters for clients 

English language skills are required as this role supports, communicates and/or collaborates with both French and English-clients and/or colleagues nationally.
