We are hiring an Administrative Assistant for our Downtown Vancouver client. This is a diverse Administration role that supports the President, Marketing and general office operations. The Administrative Assistant must have strong business writing skills, prior experience communicating with clients directly, and strong attention to detail. A background providing senior leadership with calendar management and preparing meeting materials is also desired.

Our client is an established boutique consulting firm based in Vancouver.

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
The Administrative Assistant position is a unique one. You’ll support the President with calendar management, meeting preparation - including materials, attend events and client meetings, and oversee communication. The Administrative Assistant will also support the marketing department with social media and communications. General office operations also fall under this role; responsibilities include assisting consultants with travel arrangements, ordering office supplies and filing.

ABOUT THE POSITION
Administrative support to the President, Marketing department and general office.
Manages calendars, meetings and schedules.
Prepares meeting materials.
Travel arrangements.
Attends client meetings and takes notes.
Attends client events on occasion.
Composes client communications, responds to emails and phone calls.
Document management.
Social media posts.
Assists with invoicing - data entry.
Ordering office supplies.
Mail and couriers.
General office duties as required.

THE REQUIREMENTS

4+ years of experience in an Administrative Assistant position.
Experience providing executive support is an asset.
Excellent communication skills.
Must have strong business writing skills.
Attention to detail.
Must be organized and able to prioritize and adjust to changing priorities.
Prior experience managing calendars and schedules.
Commitment to exceptional client service.
Must be flexible, this role will require attendance at events outside work hours on occasion; time in lieu will be approved.
Advanced MS Office skills.
Proven ability to follow instructions and directions.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

COMPENSATION
Annual salary range is $55,000 - $65,000 depending on experience. Competitive benefits and 4 weeks vacation to start.
