ABOUT OUR CLIENT

This client is looking for an Accounts Receivable Specialist with a minimum of 2 years of practical experience. Previous experience in a legal setting is preferred. This is a permanent, full-time position with hours from Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 4:30 pm.

ABOUT THE POSITION

• Creating and maintaining the AR collections process that includes:

• Client communications

• AR tracking

• Internal communications regarding collection efforts

• Identifying and addressing issues related to outstanding accounts

• Assist Accounting Manager and Billing Coordinator with the creation and distribution of monthly client accounts

• Back-up for posting of payments received

• Ad hoc projects for accounting team as needed

THE REQUIREMENTS

• 2-4 years of experience with collections in a professional services setting (experience in a legal setting preferred)

• Excellent client service skills (external and internal) with the ability to develop positive and collaborative relationships

• Ability to manage multiple priorities

• Attention to detail and ability to quickly identify problems and provide solutions

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word

• Diploma or certificate in accounting, bookkeeping, business administration, or other related discipline

COMPENSATION

  • Salary: $58,000 - $63,000
  • 3 weeks vacation
