Building Operator – Commercial

We are looking for a certified Building Operator for a commercial building in downtown Vancouver. As the Building Operator your goal will be to support a portfolio of commercial real estate properties under management, in building tenant relations, maintaining the facilities, and making sure the building quality is held to the highest of standards.

ABOUT THE POSITION

The Operator will be responsible for:

·Operate and maintain heating, ventilating and air conditioning (HVAC) systems including boilers, chillers, and related equipment.

·Respond to tenant inquiries/requests in a professional and timely manner.

·Conduct daily inspections of the building exterior and interior.

·Perform routine maintenance and preventative maintenance.

·Perform adjustments and minor repairs on doors, flushometers, lights, ceiling tiles, etc.

·Assist with inspections related to fire systems, boilers/chillers, generator, building inspections, etc.

THE REQUIREMENTS

·1-3 years of building operations in commercial/retail buildings.

·Customer service skills, and the ability to communicate professionally.

·Have a TSBC certified 4th class power engineering ticket.

COMPENSATION

·Salary: $60,000 - $85,000

·3 weeks vacation
