Building Operator

We are hiring a building operator for the day-to-day maintenance and facilities operation of a owner-operator real estate company. Reporting to the Operations Manager, this position would be responsible for a portfolio of commercial/retail properties within Vancouver.

About the Position

• Receiving incoming work orders and resolution.
• Managing Vendors including assisting site visits, liaising repairs, and obtaining quotes.
• Complete preventative maintenance routines.
• Management of fire system, electrical, plumbing, elevators, security, and building management systems.

The Requirements

• 2+ years in facilities maintenance or building operations.
• 4th or 5th class Power Engineering Certificate would be an asset.
• Valid driver’s license and clean abstract.
• Availability to work on-call/standby.

Compensation

• $60,000 - $70,000
• 3 - weeks vacation (15 days)
• Bonus + RRSP
• 100% Benefits premium paid by company
