Responsibilities
- Assess clients’ insurance needs and provide tailored coverage solutions to mitigate risks.
- Analyze and evaluate various insurance products and policies from multiple providers to find the best options for clients.
- Negotiate terms and premiums with insurers on behalf of clients to secure favorable coverage.
- Conduct thorough risk assessments to identify potential liabilities and recommend appropriate insurance solutions.
- Update client information as changes arise.
- Respond to account-related inquiries and requests from clients.
Qualifications
- Level 2 Alberta insurance license
- You have a minimum of 3 years of experience as a Commercial Insurance Broker
- You have a strong knowledge of commercial insurance products, policies, and regulations, and are always looking for creative and innovative solutions
- Experience in using BMS software
- CAIB, CIP, FCIP, or CRM designation is an asset
