Our crown corporation client has been in operation for over 5 decades providing insurance services throughout the province. They place a great emphasis on work life balance, job security, and comprehensive benefits for all their staff.

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

This client is currently looking to add a senior solicitor to their inhouse corporate team. This is an exciting opportunity for the incoming lawyer to leverage their extensive corporate and technology law experience as they play an integral role in the development and advancement of the crown corporation’s internal systems and software. Being a part of a tight knit and collegial group of solicitors, this incoming lawyer would be responsible for drafting and negotiating technology commercial agreements, as well as advising on a wide variety of matters requiring legal input and expertise.

THE REQUIREMENTS

• Be called to the BC Bar and be in good standing
• Minimum 6 years of experience with corporate / technology law
• Superb communication skills, both written and verbal
• Strong organizational skills, creative thinking, and a collaborative personality are strong assets!

COMPENSATION

• Salary dependent on overall experience - up to $195,000
• Extensive, Comprehensive benefits package & Pension
• 4+ weeks vacation
• Flexible working arrangements
