ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

As a Commercial Auto Underwriter, you will work on large and complex fleet insurance risks across Canada. negotiate policy terms, and collaborate with specialized brokers and provide tailored insurance solutions. You will be responsible for broker visitis to foster new and existing relationships and work closely with business development and the management on guidelines, regulations, and risk management to make informed decisions and contribute to profitable underwriting practices.

ABOUT THE POSITION

  • Provide customized solutions for clients to cover complex commercial auto, fleet insurance risks.
  • Building strong relationships with internal stakeholders.
  • Ensure accurate assessment of risks with attention to the smallest details.
  • Provide written communications to guide underwriters in risk assessment.

THE REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum 2 years experience in Commercial Auto Underwriting with expertise in Fleets
  • Distribution network in Alberta
  • Strong knowledge in underwriting pricing models and guidelines
  • Knowledge of MS Office
  • Insurance designation such as CIP, FCIP, or CRM

COMPENSATION

  • $70,000 - $85,000 salary depending on experience plus annual bonus
  • Health benefit plan start from day 1, premium covered 100% by the company
  • Pension plan
  • Paid Vacation + Personal days
  • Fully remote setting, work anywhere in Alberta
