Our client is seeking an HR Manager for their busy Law Practice! In charge of all day-to-day HR functions and projects that include program development for student recruitment and Associate professional development. The ideal Human Resources Manager will have prior experience in the professional services industry - legal industry experience is preferred, and must have experience managing and leading a team! 4+ years of HR experience at a HRBP level and above is required along with a CPHR designation. This is a dynamic role where you'll be a valued and contributing member of the leadership team.

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

Reporting to the leadership team, the Human Resources Manager will be responsible for all aspects of day-to-day human resources and manage special projects. This will include managing the administration team, leading HR programs, and developing and implementing new policies and procedures. Learning and development and employee engagement initiatives are a large part of this role. Upcoming projects include design and implementing student recruitment and associate professional development programs.

ABOUT THE POSITION
Plan and direct all HR services, programs, policies, and best practices to support the organization’s strategic goals.
Supervise administrative team and conduct performance reviews.
Develop learning and development plans.
Performance management.
Act as the first point of contact for team members on all matters relating to HR.
Manage and maintain the HR budget.
Employee engagement initiatives.
Supports recruitment efforts.
Maintains a high level of confidentiality.

Design, develop and implement student recruitment programs.

Develops the Associate professional development program.

THE REQUIREMENTS

4+ years of experience in Human Resources at a Business Partner level or above.
Post secondary degree or diploma in Human Resources.
CPHR designation.
Industry experience in professional services is required, legal industry experience is preferred.
Strong communication and able to build relationships and trust.
Must be able to manage confidential information.
Prior experience managing a team.

Experience managing student recruitment programs.

COMPENSATION
Annual salary range $100,000 - $140,000 depending on experience. Comprehensive benefits and 3 weeks vacation to start.
