Receptionist

We are hiring a Receptionist for our Downtown Vancouver client. This is a small office and the Reception role is responsible for a wide variety of responsibilities. In addition to the typical Receptionist duties, the opportunity to assist with marketing duties is there for the right applicant. We are seeking someone with 1+ year of experience in a Receptionist role, someone who can be flexible to support everyone in the office and adapt to changing priorities and tasks.

Our client is a privately held firm that provides alternative investment products for Canadian resident investors. They are the driving force behind the creation, distribution and administration of tax-efficient investment products that fuel Canada’s natural resource sector.

About the Position

  • Reception, answering phones and transferring calls.
  • Couriers.
  • Ordering office supplies.
  • Coordinating meetings.
  • Data entry.
  • Formatting and editing.
  • Correspondence and internal memos.
  • Marketing brochures - adobe.
  • Organizing catering.
  • Ensuring the kitchen is stocked and clean.

The Requirements

  • 1+ year of experience in a Receptionist role.
  • Strong working knowledge of MS Office, PowerPoint and Adobe.
  • Excellent telephone skills with a strong commitment to customer service.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities.
  • Proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Prior experience writing correspondence is desired.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Annual salary $50,000 - $55,000.
  • Extended health and dental benefits.
  • 3 weeks vacation.
