Exciting opportunity for a commercial account executive to become a part of a nationwide insurance brokerage, work with industry leaders.

ABOUT OUR CLIENT

Our client is one of the largest independent brokerage in Western Canada. They are known for their dedicated team focused on delivering the best solution for customers, grown to 10 offices and over 200 people. They are currently in search of a Commercial Account Executive to lead business development strategies and develop long term relationship with clients.

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

As a Senior Commercial Account Executive, you will primarily focus on generating new business and managing client accounts in various commercial sector.and collaborate with administration, underwriters, management and other advisors in the office.

ABOUT THE POSITION

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to meet new business targets.
  • Build and maintain relationships with potential clients to understand and address their insurance needs.
  • Manage a portfolio of commercial insurance accounts, ensuring high customer satisfaction and addressing any issues or changes.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to develop effective sales strategies.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling proposals and presentations to secure new business.
  • Collaborate with underwriting and support teams to ensure effective service delivery and risk management.

THE REQUIREMENTS

  • Level 2 Alberta insurance license
  • You have minimum 5 years of experience as a Commercial Account Executive at a brokerage
  • You have a strong knowledge of commercial insurance products, policies, and regulations, and are always looking for creative and innovative solutions
  • CAIB, CIP, FCIP, or CRM designation is an asset

  • Base salary depending on relevant experience + new business commission + annual bonus
