About the job:
Responsibilities include conducting comprehensive assessments of clients’ physical status, functional abilities, and goals, utilizing an evidence-based approach to develop and implement tailored treatment plans. Your expertise will focus on improving, maintaining, or supporting clients’ physical performance and independence. As part of a collaborative team, you will educate clients and caregivers on self-management and injury prevention, while working to achieve optimal health outcomes through ongoing evaluation and adjustment of treatment strategies. You’ll offer guidance and direction to rehabilitation assistants, ensuring that specific care needs are met and functions are transferred appropriately for optimal client outcomes. Shift times are 08:00 to 16:00 hours and will occur on weekdays Monday through Friday.

Located in the scenic town of Invermere, the hospital offers emergency care, inpatient and outpatient services, maternity care, rehabilitation, and palliative care to residents and seasonal visitors. The hospital serves not only the town of Invermere but also the surrounding Columbia Valley and remote areas, such as Radium Hot Springs, Edgewater, and Fairmont Hot Springs. It has a central role in ensuring residents have access to emergency care, routine medical services, and specialized care that they would otherwise have to travel long distances for.
