Canada Games: Québec, 2027
As the largest amateur multi-sport competition in the country, the Canada Games bring together over 3,000 high calibre athletes and coaches in more than twenty disciplines. Alternating between summer and winter, every two years, they showcase the immense talent and perseverance of our champions. The winter edition of the Canada Games will take place in Québec City from February 27 to March 14, 2027.

Your Role
History is made with the right people.You are a creative soul, passionate about visuals and the stories they can tell. As a Graphic Designer / Videographer, you will be responsible for creating impactful visual content that grabs attention, conveys our message with power, and authentically reflects the spirit of the Games. You will play a key role in our communications campaigns, events, and digital initiatives.
Under the direction of the Director of Marketing, your expertise will allow you to:
- Design and produce creative visual tools and concepts, both print and digital, aligned with the Canada Games 2027 brand identity;
- Imagine and develop original visual concepts for promotional campaigns, video content, merchandise, as well as for Web and digital templates needed before and during the Games;
- Contribute to the creation and editing of video content with promotional, informational, and educational purposes, supporting the promotion of the 2027 Canada Games;
- Produce static and animated visuals for video projects, and participate in on-site image capture during field activations and promotional events;
- Film videos, set up lighting for interviews, capture high-quality sound, and edit video content-both in the preparation phase and during the Games themselves;
- Provide design advice to the Games team and external partners to ensure visual consistency across all productions;
- Ensure consistent typography, layout, and visual identity across all materials developed for the Games;
- Adapt and tailor visuals for various digital and print platforms;
- Participate in the design and approval of event signage elements for the Games period;
- Plan, organize, and manage the projects under your responsibility, respecting deadlines, priorities, and established quality standards;
- Prepare final files for print, ensuring their technical compliance.
Keys to success
Want to join our team? Here's what it takes:
- College or technical diploma in Graphic Design or a related field. A university degree is considered an asset.
- 3 years of experience in graphic design.
- Strong experience as a videographer;
- Solid knowledge of HTML and HTML5 technologies;
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite design software (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign);
- Proficiency in video editing and animation software (Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effects, Final Cut Pro, CapCut or WeVideo);
- Familiarity with complementary tools (HTML/HTML5, recording equipment-camera, lighting, sound-and printing software);
- Knowledge of branding techniques and graphic standards;
- Professional proficiency in both French and English, spoken and written;
- Based in the Quebec City region or ready to relocate to be part of the adventure
- Valid driver’s license
- Criminal background check required
- Authorization to work in Canada
