We are looking for an Electronic Product Verification Specialist in Montreal to join our client’s R&D and IT team. As an Electronic Product Verification Specialist, you will be responsible for planning and conducting tests for innovative products.

Job Summary

The Electronic Product Verification Specialist plans, coordinates and conducts tests for new products developed internally as well as third-party products. This professional will collect and analyze data, acting as a product expert. He will work closely with the R&D team to analyze results, qualify and investigate various telemetry products.

Profile of skills and qualifications requiredTraining/Experience/Certification
  • College diploma (DEC) in electronics or a relevant field.
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar position.
  • Experience with databases.
  • Advanced expertise with Excel, including advanced functions and pivot tables.
  • Experience with Altium Designer software for designing schematics and PCBs.
Knowledge
  • Knowledge of digital product design and operation.
  • Programming skills (Arduino, C, SQL, VB, VBA or other).
  • Proficiency in laboratory tools: multimeter, data acquisition systems, etc.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Applied practical knowledge and manual skills.
  • Knowledge of the automotive industry or telemetry (asset).

Responsibilities of the Electronic Product Verification Specialist

This Electronic Product Verification Specialist position will allow you to play a key role in the development process.

  • Determine test plans for products to be qualified.
  • Plan, coordinate and conduct product tests.
  • Extract raw data from databases and analyze them with the appropriate tools.
  • Configure products according to test objectives.
  • Complete all test-related documents and produce relevant reports.
  • Identify product non-conformities and escalate their resolution.
  • Participate in the development of assembly and test procedures for production units.
  • Contribute to the design and production of electronic test tools and assemblies.
  • Support engineering requests during development and recommend required or desirable engineering changes.
  • Occasionally participate in the training of other employees.
  • Perform any other related tasks.
