Our client, located in Montreal, is looking for a Senior Director of IT Delivery to manage the evolution of the company’s IT solutions. You will lead a team of more than 100 people. Reporting to the CIO, the Senior Director – IT Delivery is responsible for defining, implementing and evolving technological solutions for the entire company. You will lead a multidisciplinary team of +/- 100 people and ensure that the solutions proposed, developed and implemented meet the requirements of internal partners, while remaining aligned with the technological orientation of the parent company, based in Atlanta.

Required profile:
  • Bilingual French/English, spoken and written, with experience collaborating with internal clients in Canada and colleagues in the United States.
  • Minimum of 15 years of experience in IT, including 8 to 10 years in managing multidisciplinary teams in the delivery of application systems.
  • Concrete experience in implementing ERP systems.
  • Mastery of software development or acquisition processes.
  • Knowledge of distribution operations and retail sales.
  • Strong command of budget management.

Your responsibilities:

The Senior Director of IT Delivery will be responsible for supervising the company’s IT systems, in line with the defined strategic directions. Promote continuous improvement and simplification of working methods to ensure optimal fluidity in communication, governance and execution.

  • Establish effective workforce plans and provide quality resources at the right time to deliver the IT components of projects.
  • Design scalable solutions consistent with the strategic plan and define delivery strategies in line with the target architecture.
  • Support and ensure the stability of all transactional systems and websites 24/7, 365 days a year.
  • Ensure the evolution of transactional systems and websites, ensuring that it complies with good architectural practices.
  • Standardize IT processes and methodologies by defining key performance indicators, with plans to meet and exceed them.
  • Effectively manage the budget under your responsibility.
