You will be responsible for optimizing welding processes to improve efficiency, productivity and quality. You will ensure the integrity of welded components when performing various welding tasks, mainly for the Montreal plant, and occasionally for other plants in North America.

If the following describes you :
- Professional studies diploma in welding-assembly;
- 5 to 7 years of proven experience as a welding specialist;
- Very good knowledge of welding equipment and materials used to weld and fabricate metal components;
- Mastery of various welding processes, including (GTAW, SMAW, GMAW / FCAW / SAW and PAW);
- Ability to read and interpret WPS / PQR, welding symbols and technical drawings;
- Possess relevant welding certifications (e.g. CWB or AWS Certified Welding Inspector / Supervisor), an asset;
- Good knowledge of welding codes such as ASME, ASTM and military, an asset;
- Bilingualism French-English (oral and written).
