Location of work: Edmonton Alberta

  • Drive in and drive out; Edmonton and surrounding area applicants will be considered due to location of the project
  • Shift based position working either five days on and two days off or six days on and 1 day off working 10-12 hours per day
  • Work will be primarily outdoors in various weather conditions.
  • Project start date: January 2025

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Able to drive a crew toward safe execution of deep foundation work
  • Can read and understand Engineered drawing sets and apply best practices in the field
  • Problem solve in the field, with input from supervision and management
  • Prepare and deliver work instructions to the crew at the start of daily shifts
  • Ensure crew members are paired properly to \maximize efficiency and safety
  • Perform daily work site inspections monitoring safety and quality of work
  • Communicate work progress, schedule variance, crew and safety performance to the site supervision
  • Prepare and submit daily timesheets on behalf of the crew and provide them work instructions

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years previous experience leading and directing others with a focus on drill shaft piles and secant piles
  • Have a general understanding of the deep foundations industry
  • Has a high degree of respect for safe work habits
  • Successfully completes a pre-employment drug and alcohol test
  • CSTS 2020 Ground Disturbance L2, supervisory training
  • Ability to work under minimal supervision
