Essential Responsibilities

  • Enter relevant data into JDE systems to generate purchase orders in accordance with company policy and procedures
  • Manages timely generation of purchase orders and proactively address any processing delays
  • Report any data integrity issues to the Asset Supervisor and collaborate on necessary corrections
  • Maintain records of purchase orders and associated documents in compliance with internal procedures
  • Assist in updating or amending existing purchase orders; make necessary adjustments to orders to reflect changes in delivery schedules, quantities, or vendor information, ensuring all updates are correctly captured in the JDE system
  • Provide general administrative support to the Asset Supervisor and the procurement team as needed
  • Ensure procurement documentation is up to date and filed properly for future reference.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of previous data entry or procurement related experience
  • Experience with ERP systems, preference given to candidates with JDE experience
  • Computer skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
  • Prior experience with purchase orders is an asset
  • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Commitment to continuous improvement and excellent customer service
  • Proven ability to manage tight deadlines and adapt to changing priorities

Work Conditions

  • This is a hybrid role involving both working from home and attending the office 1-2 days a week
  • You will be required to support the Eastern Standard Time zone and you must be flexible to adjust your working hours a few days a week
  • Reliable internet connection is required
