Job Description

What you'll do

You will help support the indirect procurement teams with strategies, capabilities, and processes needed to deliver bottom-line results. Our work is about mentoring others to achieve success in implementing new approaches and delivering lasting outcomes. You'll have the chance to lead small- to medium-sized initiatives with minimal supervision, including analyzing data, compiling metrics, conducting in-depth research and more.

Specifically, you will:

  • Structure ambiguous problems and take action to address them and synthesize clear takeaways from complex information into clear takeaways and recommendations using both qualitative and quantitative methods.
  • Communicate effectively with all audiences, including senior leaders, in a structured manner.
  • Establish trust-based relationships with teams to better serve them by blending critical thinking with hands-on experiences, advising on developing and defining strategies to help teams address their most critical problems.
  • Compiles bids and supports analyzing quantitative and qualitative metrics to guide decisions on awarding and contracting
  • Setup RFP/RFQ/RFI’s within the company’s Source-to-Contract tool to support best practices
  • Create thorough and simple-to-read documentation for all users across the indirect procurement group
  • Provide a unique set of tools and techniques to find opportunities for improvement and you will implement recommendations in support of the business objectives.
  • Conduct in-depth research into specific categories or store-level innovations to drive the procurement team’s go-to-market or negotiation strategy
  • Work directly and effectively with various teams while sharing your expertise and insights with colleagues, thereby growing our knowledge, and refining our approaches, to come up with the best solution and move people and teams to act.

Qualifications

  • Undergraduate degree in supply chain, business, operations, or related fields
  • 1-3 years of supply chain experience, specifically in procurement with a focus on data analytics and analysis within MS Excel
  • Experience with Macros / VBA
  • Excellent proficiency with Microsoft Office (specifically Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and
  • Experience implementing business processes and controls, including ongoing improvement opportunities.
  • Project and process management skills, with expertise in prioritizing and balancing multiple projects/tasks simultaneously.
  • Ability to grasp and communicate complex ideas clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing
  • Proven experience in developing documents and presenting complex information to colleagues at all levels.
  • Excellent engagement skills to achieve collaboration and alignment and build an inclusive environment while working autonomously with little direction.
  • Exposure to Source-to-Contract tools is considered an asset
  • Experience with Power BI is considered an asset
