As Manager, Product Marketing you will be instrumental in building our growing retail media business by bridging our product innovation and sales activities. As a member of the Product Marketing team, you will equip our account teams and clients with top-tier marketing tools to successfully leverage our suite of capabilities. You will translate product-level value propositions into full-some marketing strategies that come to life across a variety of communication channels including sales presentations, 1-sheets, white-papers, website, email communications, events, and social channels.

By staying attuned to trends in the dynamic media and retail landscape, and feeding these into our product and marketing strategies, you will be a key thought-leader shaping our division’s marketplace equity and competitive edge.

Note: This role requires working at least 4 days on-site per week.

What You'll Do

  • Develop sales packages, sales collateral, B2B marketing communications or any other marketing materials under the strategic guidance of the GTM team, to ensure we present a compelling and professional-grade offering to the marketplace.
  • Source necessary data insights about LCL and our media products from data analytics, product, media operations, and insights teams to build compelling sales narratives for the Advance sales team.
  • Help to bring new sales opportunities & media products to market, working across internal teams to build the opportunity, construct the selling narratives, work out feasibility and craft the marketing and sales strategies. This may also mean the development of support tools for the sales team such as training materials, or campaign planning tools as needed to enable the effective sell-through and execution of media product lines.
  • Support the sales team in selling through opportunities launched to market including developing communications for the marketplace about offerings and answering questions about our product lines and packages, as needed.
  • Play a critical role in helping to manage and prioritize the sales collateral build work and new product launches to ensure workstreams are prioritized against the high-potential opportunities and Advance plans go-to-market work effectively to maximize the revenue potential of our product lines.
  • Support in the work to develop and execute industry communications and outreach activities, which may include drafting creative briefs for press releases, developing key messages & content for industry B2B publicity initiatives (like webinars or panel discussions) and organizing logistics for industry events & development external sponsorship materials.
  • Liaise with the various LCL creative teams as needed to guide the creative process for mocks or other materials we use in our sales & marketing collateral.
  • Ensure consistency and accuracy of sales narratives and branding across all marketing, sales and communication channels,
  • Draft, review and manage any other marketing materials as necessary for Advance’s external communications (POP material, website, and other marketing executions).

What we’re looking for…

  • Minimum of 5 years marketing experience, ideally B2B marketing experience or in a role related to media planning in consumer marketing division.
  • Ideal candidate is a product marketer in retail media or digital media and has experience supporting digital media sales team. Experience with ad technology and digital media planning/buying would be strong assets.
  • University level degree with specialty in Marketing, Digital Media, Communications or a related field.
  • Strong command of insight-based marketing strategies, digital media, and communications planning, particularly in a B2B marketing setting.
  • Expert marketing storyteller adept at creating both visual and written marketing communications and presentations.
  • Advanced copywriting skills and a strong visual design aesthetic are must-haves in order to bring to produce professional-grade marketing & sales materials.
  • Strong proficiency building B2B marketing materials and marketing communications with mainstream design software (e.g. Photoshop) and business software (Office suite, especially PowerPoint).
  • Self-starter that takes ownership of their projects from start to finish.
  • A solid business acumen to be able to identify, quantity and frame up new market opportunities and guide product improvements.
  • Strong ability to prioritize multiple projects.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills in order to effectively source information, obtain approvals and build relationships.
